So, this brings me to the end of my travels across Central America. I can confirm that I am now officially home and safe (relieved sighs all round)!

Day 16: San Jose, Costa Rica
Well today was my last full day on the tour, and I am feeling fairly emotional writing this post. I can’t believe it’s nearly over!
Day 15: La Fortuna, Costa Rica
Today I experienced another very full-on day packed with almost as much adrenaline as the bungee jump day, but this time with added water which I am now thoroughly sick of!

After an excellent night’s sleep we got up at 7am (a lay in! Yay!) to say goodbye to Monteverde and travel to La Fortuna for a relaxing day.

After a very early start, humid day and a hard border crossing, I am finally in the land of Costa Rica, Marvin’s home! I really am expecting a lot from this country.
Day 0: Expecting the Unexpected
So tomorrow, I am going to embark on a number of things which I have never done before in my life. I am flying on a plane completely alone (three planes, in fact). I am visiting a region of the world I have never been to before. I am going backpacking!
