Day 16-21: Safari and final days in Uganda

So that’s it – after an entire year of preparation, my African adventure is over. The final few days of my trip were the best by far, and I can’t believe how quickly the time went. I felt like I’d only just arrived, but equally I was so used to the lifestyle I felt like I’d been there for months. Here’s what I got up to on safari and at the opening day of the playground.

Sian jailbreaks Poland

So, at 10am on November 2 until 10pm on November 3, George Creasy and I had a challenge – to travel as far away from Warwick University campus as possible within 36 hours without spending a penny, in aid of AICR (the Association for International Cancer Research).

And guess what? The Baker Breakers have officially jailbroken. We made it all the way to Poland!

Today I experienced another very full-on day packed with almost as much adrenaline as the bungee jump day, but this time with added water which I am now thoroughly sick of!
