So after trying pole fitness at the beginning of the summer and absolutely loving it, I decided that I’d like to try some more new sports. So to end my 2014 with a bang, I thought it would be cool to give skiing a go for the first time in my life.

A few goodbyes

Over the summer, I made the difficult decision to have to step down from some of my editorial positions before I start my finals this year (tomorrow, actually). I decided that holding six editorial positions was a little too much commitment if I want to do really well in my academic work, so for once, I put my degree first (I know, I’m just as surprised as you are). So today is my final day in my positions at the Student Journals, Kettle Magazine and Eat More Cake Magazine.

So here are a few small goodbyes – I’ll try not to cry!

A week at the Huffington Post

So last week I headed to the Huffington Post¬†for a week of work experience on the Students desk. Having done a fair amount of work experience now, I wasn’t really that nervous for this placement, just looking forward to getting back into the newsroom.
