I can’t believe that this is my last day in paradise. It’s gone far too quickly; I never want to leave! I’ll have to start with the bad news though – the evening following my last blog post ended pretty badly.

So today was my very first day in paradise, and I can assure you that I certainly have not been disappointed.

Today’s post is just a short one – there’s not a lot for me to say really, as we spent 13 hours travelling today! But I can confirm that I am now in paradise.

Here’s my first post to let you all know that I’ve made it! I’m in Guatemala, after three flights, a stupidly early start but luckily very few struggles along the way.

So tomorrow, I am going to embark on a number of things which I have never done before in my life. I am flying on a plane completely alone (three planes, in fact). I am visiting a region of the world I have never been to before. I am going backpacking!
