Today was another day of rest, this time allowing us to explore the surroundings of Granada in Nicaragua! And a beautiful town it is, too. However, I did have my first experience of tropical rain.

Apologies for the lack of post yesterday – last night was, to coin a phrase, very ‘YOLO-style’. However, I am officially in Nicaragua!

I can’t believe that this is my last day in paradise. It’s gone far too quickly; I never want to leave! I’ll have to start with the bad news though – the evening following my last blog post ended pretty badly.
